I’m sorry to hear about the difficulties your family is facing. The Ahl al-Bayt (AS) have provided guidance on how to protect oneself from such harm. Here are some steps based on the teachings of the Ahl al-Bayt (AS) that can be taken to seek protection and cure from black magic:

    1. Recitation of Specific Verses and Supplications.

    a. Surah al-Falaq and Surah an-Nas (Chapters 113 and 114 of the Quran):

These two surahs are known as the Mu’awwidhatayn and are specifically revealed for protection against evil, including black magic. It is recommended to recite these surahs frequently, especially in the morning and evening.

    b. Ayat al-Kursi (Surah al-Baqarah, 2:255):

This verse is one of the most powerful in the Quran for protection against harm.Reciting Ayat al-Kursi after every prayer and before going to bed is highly recommended.

    c. The Last Two Verses of Surah al-Baqarah (2:285-286):

These verses are a means of protection, and it’s said that they provide safety from harm when recited at night.

    d. The Verse of the Throne (Surah al-Baqarah, 2:102):

This verse talks about the knowledge of magic being given as a test. Reciting this verse is believed to be effective in countering magic.

    2. Dua for Protection and Healing

The Imams of the Ahl al-Bayt (AS) have taught several supplications (duas) that can be recited for protection and healing:

    a. Dua al-Nudba:This dua is a powerful invocation often recited for seeking help and protection from Allah through the intercession of Imam al-Mahdi (AS).

    b. Dua al-Sabah:This is a supplication from Imam Ali (AS) that includes requests for protection and guidance throughout the day.

    c. Dua Jawshan al-Kabeer:This long dua is known for its many names and attributes of Allah, which provide protection against harm. Reciting it during times of difficulty can be very beneficial.

There are many other ways like:

    • Seeking Help from Allah through Sadaqah

    • Keeping a Close Relationship with the Quran

    • Consultation with a Trusted Religious Scholar….

    • Maintaining Purity (Taharah)

If you or your family feel the need for further assistance, continuing to seek the help of knowledgeable and pious individuals within the Shia community who are experienced in dealing with such matters can also be beneficial.

May Allah grant you and your family relief from these difficulties and protect you from all harm.
