Assalam o Alaikum, the Issue of Fadak is very complex to prove and it includes debunking every refutation from the Ahle sunnah side and thus includes many books, proving the authenticity of those books, proving the authenticity of those narrators and much more, so it would be better if we deal with subtopics first… for example… Debunking the hadith which Abu Bakr used, or Rasool gifting Fadak to Bibi Fatima, and much more…..

For now, let’s just start with Refuting the common Misco0nception that AMBIYA KI WIRASAT NAHI HOTI…..

QURAN 19:6 “Who will inherit me and inherit from the family of Jacob. And make him, my Lord, pleasing [to You].”

QURAN 27:16 “And Solomon inherited David. He said, “O people, we have been taught the language of birds, and we have been given from all things. Indeed, this is evident bounty.”

QURAN 33:6 “……..As ordained by Allah, blood relatives are more entitled ˹to inheritance˺ than ˹other˺ believers and immigrants,…….”

Now whoever is going to say that here the Inheritance is about Knowledge and not anything else… read Sahih Bukhari and Muslim..

SAHIH BUKHARI 3110 and SAHIH MUSLIM 2449c shows that Imam Zainul Aabdeen a.s had the sword of Rasool Allah with him

Even the homes of Rasool Allah’s wives were his own and after the death of Rasool Allah it got transferred to his wives.

NOW LET’S LOOK AT THE BIGGEST REFUTATION they make on this… they come at you with a hadith from:

AL KAFI [vol 1, book2, chapter4, hadith1] where there is a part in the hadith which says….” PROPHETS DO NOT LEAVE ANY DIRHAM OR DINAR AS THEIR LEGACY BUT THEY DID LEAVE KNOWLEDGE”……<I will attach the hadith with this answer>

OUR RESPONSE TO THIS IS SIMPLE,

    1. They don’t even realize that this narration has not got the same wordings like the one which Abu Bakr used. This narration from Al Kafi can be found in their own books as well..[SUNAN ABU DAWOOD HADITH 3641] this narration is termed as SAHIH by Albani too. NOTE THAT, Abu Bakr did not talk anything about the Inheritance of Knowledge when he mentioned that Prophets do not Inherit, showing that he was not referring to this narration.
    2.  in KURUB AL ISNAD vol11 pg 99 , IMAM JAFAR SADIQ a.s has also refused the claim for Abu Bakr about the fake hadith that Prophets do not Inherit very clearly. <I will attach the scans>

NOW, AFTER PROVING THAT THESE NARRATIONS ARE DIFFERENT, THE QUESTION IS, DOES THIS AL KAFI HADITH FAVOURS ABU BAKR? NO ! let’s see:

    1. here the Hadith in Al Kafi talks about …THE PROPHETS DO NOT LEAVE BEHIND….. and not THE PROPHETS DO NOT INHERIT !

    2.  This hadith in Al Kafi is referring to every person in ummah and the scholars, not the family of the prophet, to support this… let’s go to BASAIR AL DARAJAAT [vol 1 , pg 40-41 ] where Imam a.s is explaining that how the Scholars inherit knowledge from the Ahlulbait a.s

    3. THE VIEWS OF SHIA SCHOLARS ON THIS NARRATIONS:

ALLAMA MAJLISI in his book  BERA’AT UL UQOOL [ Vol 1, page 103-104] has mentioned this narration and explained how this narration refers to the scholars and not the family of the prophet <i will add the scans>

even SHEIKH AL KULAYNI in his book AL KAFI <from where we took the hadith> has mentioned this Hadith under the chapter of Knowledge and Scholars.

    WASSALAM !
