I have posted a few videos and pictures on social media with music. Now, I have realized it is haram and decided to post without music. I have gained a few followers and reach. So, are those followers and reach haram for me to keep? Should I start over or could I continue like that (keeping the followers while posting with no music)?

  1. Music is haram since the beginning of islam any type of music other than only your voice which you use in nasheeds nohas and naats and manqabats so if you have posted any music jus delete the posts and for the followers there is nothing wrong with it.

  2. If The Music Is Permissible (Halal), And Not Associated With Frivolous Or Party Gatherings, Does Not Lead One Away From Allah, And Contains No Elements Of Shirk And Kufr, Then It Is Acceptable. However, If The Music Is Impermissible (Haraam), Removing Those Posts Should Be Sufficient.

Additionally, Whether The Videos And Pictures You Post Are Permissible (Halal) Or Not Is Entirely Dependent On Their Content. If The Videos And Pictures Themselves Are Impermissible (Haraam), Then Inquiring About The Music Is Irrelevant. Furthermore, If You Are A Woman, It Is Advisable To Keep Your Account Private Sister.
